Presentation of Lille
Lille (also known as Rijsel) is known from the XIth century and has been under the authority of the Flanders, Bourguignon, Spanish to finally becoming Frenc in 1667. This history makes a city with a high melting pot that can still be seen when walking down the street. In the past two centuries, Lille has also benefited from its unique location in Europe between three important capital (Paris, London and Brussel), allowing a high dynamical economy, based on different industries as train and wagon manufacturer or the textile industry.
